Eastern Tibet (2009)

In 2009, I spent an extended stay in a remote farming village south of the town of Batang in the eastern Tibetan region of Kham. The photographs above offer insights into this village and the surrounding regions of Litang, Chaktreng, and Gyeltang, with a focus on the Tibetan people and their Buddhist culture.
